SWINGING FOR A CAUSE

Recently, the Ladies of Charity joined forces with the Sisters of the Presentation at their annual golf tournament.  Held at the Fairways of Halfmoon, this event not only showcased the skill of the golfers but also exemplified the collective commitment to supporting the children of St. Colman’s.

Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as golfers brought their unique flair to the greens.  The tournament offered friendly competition among the players, motivating them to aim for that elusive hole-in-one. The day was punctuated by moments of triumph and near misses, creating memories that will linger long after the last putt.

The afternoon ended with a delicious dinner and a chance win beautiful gift baskets that were generously donated by the Ladies of Charity and assembled by Jane Ostroff-Lin.    Volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring smooth operations and a memorable experience for all attendees.

The real winners of the day, however, were the children of St. Colman’s.  A heartfelt thank you to all involved.  This was not just a day of golf, but a celebration of community, compassion, and generosity.
