BBQ BLISS: A Gathering with the Daughters

A perfect sunny Saturday afternoon was the setting for a barbecue held recently with the Daughters of Charity.  This cherished tradition once again brought us all together for some moments of shared joy and delicious food.  From the time everyone arrived, conversations flowed freely as we caught up on each other's lives since our last gathering.

The heart of the festivities was undoubtedly the barbecue itself.  Hamburgers grilled to perfection along with side dishes, salads and desserts provided by the Ladies of Charity tempted even the most disciplined to sneak a taste. 

The simple joy of coming together, of sharing laughter and stories, and of nourishing both body and soul in the company of cherished friends created a warmth that lingered beyond the afternoon.
