Thanksgiving is a season rooted in gratitude, togetherness, and shared meals. For many families, however, the holiday can also bring the added worry of providing a festive dinner. After thoughtful planning, our Ladies generously donated all the essential food items needed to prepare Thanksgiving meals for seven families whose children attend St. Colman’s School.
The Daughters of Charity played an instrumental role in this effort by filling the baskets with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cornbread, canned vegetables, and an array of other delicious treats. The turkeys—also donated by the Ladies—will be added separately.
These baskets will be delivered to St. Colman’s well in advance, ensuring that each family has plenty of time to prepare for a warm and festive Thanksgiving celebration.
