MARY'S CORNER RECEIVES A GIFT

Alba Giordano's granddaughters hosted a 95th birthday celebration for her at Wolferts Roost Country Club in April. While some of her past accomplishments with the Ladies of Charity were highlighted on a timeline (like holding nearly every position on our board, leading us as one of our past presidents and acting as a program chair at the National Assembly of the Ladies of Charity held in Albany in 2002), it is her most recent volunteer work with Mary’s Corner that Alba now holds dear to her heart! She asked that, in lieu of gifts, guests might want to donate to Mary’s Corner. Many donated in Alba’s name totaling over $5,000! We are lucky to be the recipient of her thoughtfulness. Thank you, Alba, for including us in your big day!
