GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

More than fifty Ladies and Sisters joined us for our General Membership meeting held on September 16, and we had a great time!

Sister Joanne organized a meaningful Mass, celebrated by Father Pat Butler at the DePaul House Chapel. The liturgy highlighted St. Vincent DePaul as we neared his Feast Day on September 27. Sheila Morris Barnes graced us with her beautiful singing voice, while Theresa McMahon and Alba Giordano served as readers.

Kelly Murray created a lovely setting with beautifully arranged tables and a delicious meal at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club. Each table was decorated with samples of the stunning pottery that would later be available for purchase at The Art Haven Pottery Show in the Seton Conference Room on September 19.

We were treated to speaker Gabby Babun, Director of Life Enrichment for the Sisters, who talked with us about the many opportunities to participate with the Sisters beyond our “Saturdays with the Sisters” ministry. Gabby provided a list of upcoming October activities and even scheduled a planning session with our committee to coordinate future events throughout the year.

As suggested in the meeting invitation, attendees brought children’s socks and underwear to benefit our Mary’s Corner locations. The collection basket was overflowing — a heartwarming show of generosity that will be a welcome site to our clients. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

We look forward to our next General Membership Meeting which will be held on December 9, 2025. But in the meantime, enjoy the photos from this year's event.
